Preparing For Your Session
Salt Cave Guidelines and Etiquette
Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork and prepare for the session.
Wear comfortable clothing, you may bring a light jacket, sweater or throw. The salt cave is kept between 68 and 70 degrees, for some it may be cool. We do provide throws if needed.
Please refrain from using your cell phones and other electronic devices so as not to disturb others in the room. However we do allow one to use headphones at their own risk, salt can damage circuitry of electronic devices. Please keep volume low so as not to disturb others next to you.
We do not allow food or drinks in the salt cave. Spills could degrade the floor salt and it would need replaced.
Please no strong deodorant, aftershave or body odor, and also refrain from wearing perfume or scented cosmetics, when attending a Halotherapy Session. You may be in the room with others who could be bothered by smells.
Generally, it would just be you and those in your party, in the room. But we reserve the right to fill all seats in the room if others book at the same time, and there are empty seats available, unless you request the room exclusively for your party.
Please no shoes to be worn in salt cave. We will provide a clean pair of socks to be worn while in the salt cave and you may keep them or place in hamper after your session. It is okay to wear your own socks as long as they are clean. :)
Please do not touch cave walls or decorations, etc. Cameras have been installed in the cave for yours and our, protection.
Please use restroom before entering room for a session.
Once a session begins, please do not open the door.
Lighting will be low during the session, so we don't advise trying to read, but allow personal book lights if you want to read.
We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items, please lock valuables in your vehicle or place on chair inside the salt cave.
Any personal electronic equipment taken into the salt room, headphones to listen to your own music, privately, etc, is at your own risk as the salt may damage circuitry.
It is important to have water before and after a session, a water cooler will be in the waiting room and our store offers herbal tea samplings sometimes.
Please do not come for a session if you are ill or feeling sick.
Please be on time for your session, once a session starts we do not allow late arrivals to enter the room and your session will be forfeited. We do allow a 1 time reschedule.
Please do not let children play in the salt or disturb others, we reserve the right to ask those who disturb others, while in session, to leave. No refunds will be given.
Those bringing a pet for a session must sit in tiled area designated for pets and those in wheelchairs. Please keep pets off of the salt floor. Please keep pet leashed at all times and under control. We reserve the right to ask those who don't follow the rules to leave, no refunds given.
